Student shot in Banga school attack is conscious and breathing on her own after surgery

A Grade 9 student who suffered a gunshot wound to the head in the Banga National High School shooting is conscious and responsive five days later, South Cotabato disaster official Rolly Doane Aquino said Tuesday. Doctors at Cotabato Regional and Medical Center removed her ventilator and intubation tube after surgery. She is breathing on her own.
